I’m on the train to Wien right now, and should be there in about an hour. I’m leaving one important thing behind in Innsbruck, a lens cap. It slipped and rolled into the river Inn yesterday evening. How did I deal with this? I sacrificed a polarizing filter (couldn’t find a photo supply store, strangely). A new filter is significantly cheaper than a new lens. Of course, cheapest of all would have been carrying an extra lens cap.
Oh well. Live and learn.
I’ve been reading the guidebook again, and am excited to see Vienna. It is much bigger than anyplace else I have visited this trip, and there are a lot of things to see and do. Unfortunately, I haven’t allotted a great deal of time for the visit.
Oh well. In any case, I must remember to stop and enjoy the parks while there.
Most importantly, though … What will I eat?
March 14, 2021. An interim post for a few hours spent on the train. I don’t think I even consider doing this today. This feels like a throwaway post. And it probably is.
